This institute was the place where it all began, i.e. the current team has its roots in the GMD RoboCup team formed by members of the GMD which now turned into the AIS. Members of this institution take part in the RoboCup community for many years and still act as a main part of the organization committee. Since 2003 the actual Middle Size League team moved to the FH BRS, where students care about robots and soccer games. Additionally they are supervised by Prof. P. G. Plöger, who is one of the GMD RoboCup team, and Walter Nowak, who support the students with their knowledge about robotics, robot soccer and all the organizational stuff. For the work on the robots the FH BRS set up a laboratory where they installed a tournament like soccerfield. This gives the students the right environment to build and implement a working robot crew.
