AIS/BIT ROBOTS

Our Team ...

Most of the students are working on a graduation in computer sciences, some in the Bachelor Course for Computer Science others in the Master Course for Autonomous Systems. Some studies related research projects expand the work on the robots but most of the jobs are voluntary and team members use this opportunity to enjoy scientific work with hands on real moving robots in a nice atmosphere.

The team is supervised by Prof. Dr. P. G. Plöger and Walter Nowak, who support the students with their knowledge about robotics, robot soccer and all the organizational stuff. For the work on the robots the FH BRS set up a laboratory where they installed a tournament like soccerfield. This gives the students the right environment to build and implement a working robot crew.
Currently the crew is preparing for the RoboCup World Championship in Atlanta in 2007.
